Column

A good gig was cranking out a weekly humor column for one year during my newspaper days. My name is pronounced la-ROCK, so the weekly humor column I wrote was called--what else. Here are a few samples of "A Piece of LaRocque." Many were about life in and around Sun Valley, Idaho.

Backing Her Way Through Ketchum

Nobody Knows Enough
Ever feel this way yourself?

Unload Your Beater on Any Old Sucker

How to Raise Children
More advice from the heart, not the head

Reference to History
Local lore spawned inside jokes.

Museum Houses Wild Animals
Occasionally I strayed from humor to tell a story.

Uncle Wiley Vows to Gain Weight
Was he real or fictitious? You decide.
